Here is a picture of me a couple of hours after I was born.
I didn't sleep much at first, but finally I fell asleep on my Dad when I was two days old (can you tell?!).
And boy, was I cute!
This is a picture of me with my Mum, Imogen. It was taken by my Grandma Mary
when she visited. I was 8 days old when this was taken!
My main hobby at first was eating, as you can see I've practiced
a lot. I also enjoyed crying for food in between meals and
spitting small portions of my meals back at unsuspecting
adults.
As promised, here's some more up-to-date pictures of me. I was 3 weeks old at the time and I loved to play with my rattles in my moses basket. Look, I've got more hair!
3 weeks old!

When I was about 6 weeks old I learned to smile. I think you'll agree that it's quite cute and I know I can use it to get just about anything I want!
Baths are lots of fun. I play in the water and then I get lot's of cuddles to get dry afterwards. I've also found that my hands are really tasty. Unfortunately, I haven't worked out why I choke when I put my fingers down my throat. I'm sure it'll come to me soon...
You know, being a baby is awfully hard work. So you have to remember, no matter where you are, or what you're doing, if you feel tired, take a nap.
Nap time | Nap time again | Nap time yet again | And again |
Now that I'm around 3 months old there's lots more I can do with my time. I love to play with my toys, although sometimes my feet are just as fun!
Bath time is even more fun now because I'm in the big bath! In the big bath
I especially love playing with the bubbles...

(The sun was a bit too bright for me that day!)
And finally for now, here's a picture of me with my Mummy. This was taken before she had her hair cut! To see what she looks like after you'll have to tune in next time...
Sorry to keep you all in suspense for so long... Here's the after picture as promised.
As you can see, we had some portraits taken by a real photographer. Here's a picture of the whole family.
Since I last wrote, many things have changed. Sitting up is no longer such a challenge. Sometimes I don't even need support, but it makes me feel a bit more secure!
Of course, the weather is getting colder, so now we have to wrap up warm to go out.
Now I'm eating solid food. In fact, I'm eating three good solid meals a day! Sometimes it can be a messy business...
I've got a new play mat and I like to play on my front as much as my back. I can roll over in both directions, although sometimes I feel lazy and can't be bothered to roll back onto my back. Luckily, Mummy or Daddy always come to my rescue.
The other piece of news is that I now have two very sharp little teeth. They came through when I was just over 5 months old. Unfortunately, there aren't any pictures in which you can see them.
Well, that's all for this time. Until the next installment, here's looking at you kid...
First stop was Connecticut to visit my family. As you can see, it was really cold and I got my first taste of snow.
While I was there I met my grandpa Stu for the first time,
and I saw my great-grandma Dinah,
gradma Sue,
and my uncles Greg (left) and Jeremy (right).
We visited my great-uncle Steve, great-aunt Jane and cousins Dan and Kate.
My great-aunt, -uncle and cousins
I also had my first ever bagel, care of my great-grandma Dinah. Yum! (Cool high chair, huh?)
The next stop was Florida, where we stayed with my great-grandparents. Here's a picture of all the family who were there with me. Gerat-grandma Marion, grandma Marsha, great-grandpa Al, great-aunt Barbara, Mum and Dad.
Most of all though, I enjoyed playing in the baby pool...
...almost as much as my grandma did!
Mum and Dad took me to the beach. I played in the sand and, no, I didn't
eat it. I loved looking at the waves, but they were much too big, so I
couldn't go for a swim.
Now I'm running around and enjoying every minute of it. It keeps Mum
and Dad on their toes!
I also love to read my books at evey opportunity. We have to keep getting
more so that Mum and Dad don't get bored of reading the same ones over and
over and over... I don't mind though.
We went to Portugal to visit Grandma Marsha and Grandpa Nick while they were on holiday. It was a wonderful place and we had a great time.
My favourite part of the holiday was playing in the pool.
Anyway, these are a couple of pictures taken by my
In April, we went back to the USA. We visited all of my family in
Connecticut and then we went to Florida. I had a great time, and I'm
thinking of becoming a beach bum when I grow up.
While we were in Florida, we went to Seaworld and saw dolphins, sharks,
killer whales and came face to face with some really big fish!
But, I spent as much time as I could on the beach. Here I am enjoying a
snack with my Mum and my Grandma Marsha.

Well, that's all for now. I'll keep bugging Dad to keep this page more
up-to-date. Next installement, my 2nd birthday and another trip
to Portugal. It's a tough life, but someone's gotta do it!
