Andrew Williamson

While in Cambridge, I studied for a Ph.D. under the supervision of Dr. R.J. Needs. My thesis was entitled Quantum Monte Carlo Calculations of Electronic Excitations.

My thesis involded working on optimising wavefunctions, reducing finite size effects in QMC calculations and calculating excitation energies using QMC.
