News Update
Having been based at the Cavendish from 1989-1994 and 1996-1999,
I have since moved to a faculty position at the University
of Birmingham. My present webpage and further links (including
publication list, selected talks and teaching resources) can be found

However, I am a regular visitor to the
Cavendish laboratories in Cambridge as I was thesis advisor to Karl Sandeman who was
based there but has since graduated.
I also maintain collaborations with a number of the
Cambridge research groups, in particular:
From 1992 to 1999, I was a Fellow of
Gonville and Caius College.
