Membership types

Are you interested in joining the Theory of Living Matter Group? We offer three levels of participation:

• Becoming a subscribed member is easy! Just sign up to our mailing list and receive news about our upcoming events. In addition, you have the possibility to display your contact information and research interests on our webpage (for instructions, see below).


• Active members are sporadically involved in specific tasks related to our events. An active membership is ideal for new members who want to contribute to the activities of TLM but do not have the capacities to be involved in organisation, planning and coordination of events.

• Or are you interested in becoming part of the organiser team and actively promote our events?
  Write us at and drop by at our next organiser meeting! (Please note that places in the organiser team are limited depending on the current number of organisers.)

Displaying your contact information and research interests in the members section of the Theory of Living Matter webpage is a great way to get in touch with other experimentalists and/or theorists in Cambridge. If you would like us to put your information on the webpage, please send the following to :

• Your name
• Email address (optional)
• Your affiliation
• Address of your private or departmental webpage (optional)
• Research interests (three to four short bullet points)
• One or two sentences about you and your research (write whatever you want) in twitter format, around 140 characters.
• A photo of you (optional)
